2019
On my first visit, I went with some friends. Bennett Newlove, Ross O’Neil, and Jordan Meaney. It was a joyous time exploring a new city with friends and I thoroughly enjoyed every second of it. I loved the outdoor and dining culture the city had – the biker and pedestrian forward mindset and stunning architecture of the whole city enamored me.
2024
Five years later in 2024, I got the chance to go back. When we were returning from Faroe, Sophie and I had a flight cancel on us and the result was that we had just over an evening in Copenhagen. It was bliss. I took Sophie to a few of my favorite places, tried some new food (including the best cinnamon bun I’ve ever had), and biked all over. We also got stunning weather both the night we arrived and the morning after – it lent itself to the city well.
