Tetons In Color
I first wanted to visit Grand Tetons in 2018 – but that trip ended up being instead focused around exploring Colorado. In Fall 2023, I got to make the trip out to Grand Teton for the first time and it was exceptional. Because of the fear of a Government Shutdown only on my second day in the park I woke up at 2:00 AM in Bozeman Montana and began driving to the Tetons for sunrise – it was worth it and a great way to start the trip.
Tetons In Black & White
The landscapes of the Tetons I found lend themselves to black and white photography. The snow-capped mountains often offered a stunning contrast to the foregrounds of trees and rocks and shadow which lay ahead of them. Additionally there were many instances of stark and dramatic light during this trip which brilliant lent themselves to this format.
