Colorado

When I first decided that I wanted to leave Boston – Sophie and I were debating where we should go next. A few different places were in the running.

For some time we considered Seattle – and even through around ideas of Oregon or some parts of Northern California – however the one we kept coming back to was Colorado.

I’d visited the state before and knew how incredible the nature was and combined with the exciting change of weather (going from somewhere where it’s gray half the year to somewhere where it’s sunny over 300 days a year) and we were sold.

Since we arrived Sophie and I have constantly been making the most of it – exploring the places around us and giving ourselves a chance to get lost out here.

Some of the highlights so far have been photographing the Rockies covered in snow. Hiking through aspen groves in the fall – and camping overnight in my car. There’s been tons of hiking – sunrises and sunsets in between with a great bit of skiing as well.

It’s truly an outdoorsman’s paradise. Enjoy the photos.
