Grand Canyon National Park
The famous one.
October 2022
I need to go back to the Grand Canyon. It was gorgeous, and I’m pleased with a few of the results (mainly the first and second image) – however there was a limiting factor. The wind was ruining my images – with my tripod being too flimsy to support the load against the wind. This leg of the trip was what prompted me to purchase my new tripod which is very wind resistant, heavy, and supports a massive weight. The tripod I was using to take these was a lightweight flimsy travel-tripod which, when supporting the weight of my camera and lenses, was being blown around like it was not even there.
